This is an original 1920 movie ad from the Paramount silent film, “The Copperhead,” starring Lionel Barrymore. His first wife Doris Rankin also appeared in the film. The film is set in the Civil War era and considered. Lionel plays a Illinois farmer who joins the “Copperheads,” a northern group who were supportive of the south.
Ad is large 6.5x9.5 and in b&w. It has a nice layout and detail. See the scan of the actual item being offered. It is original, not a reproduction and was taken from a vintage movie magazine and is in very good condition.
